Materials that shape innovation
Polyamide 12 (PA12)
PA12 is a durable, versatile material commonly used in additive manufacturing. It offers high tensile strength, excellent chemical resistance, and low moisture absorption, making it ideal for functional prototypes, end-use parts, and precision applications in industries like automotive and aerospace.
Moreover, PA12 parts can feature snap-fit functionality and remain rigid when printed thicker than 5mm, providing both flexibility and durability.
While the surface finish is slightly grainy and powdery after printing, our post-processing services, like dyeing, priming, and painting, can enhance the appearance, making PA12 perfect for both functional and visually appealing designs.
Nylon (TPU) - Flexible
Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) is a flexible, rubber-like material known for its elasticity, abrasion resistance, and shock absorption. TPU enables the production of complex designs, offering durability and customization with superior mechanical performance.
It’s ideal for parts requiring flexibility and resilience. TPU has a smooth, slightly glossy finish when 3D printed, and while the surface is generally uniform, it may show slight texturing, depending on the print settings.
Our post-processing services, including dyeing and polishing, can enhance the surface further, giving the final product a sleek, smooth, and visually appealing finish.
